A Nigerian woman named Ifeoma Otubo is said to have hanged herself in Okposi Umuoghara, in the local government area of Ezza North, in Ebonyi state.
The mother of five committed suicide behind her home on Sunday, December 20 because she was struggling to care for her children.
According to her brother, Christopher Oyibo, Ifeoma attempted suicide in 2014 due to hardship but was rescued.

Very early in the morning, when the children woke up to calm down, they saw their mother hanging from the mango tree behind their house.
“It has been said that the sick during her first suicide attempt gave a reason for the difficulties because before the war they lived well and had a personal business that she ran, but when they moved into the house from fathers to Umuoghara, they became small farmers and life became difficult.
