Kwaku Abba, a 47-year-old palm wine fisherman, brutally put the life of his 6-year-old son in Diabenekrom, a suburb of Sekondi Takoradi metropolis.
The act took place on Friday, July 19 as the accused and his children were heading to their farm.
According to an eyewitness who told the story at ghanaguardian.com, the 47-year-old farmer and his children were coming to their farm in the wee hours of Friday, when the provocative palm wine shooter cut his head of his 6 year old son. old son leaving him to die in a pool of blood.

Pbadersby who witnessed the heinous crime quickly went to the scene and inflicted physical abuse on the suspect, but were promptly taken to the police station.
The accused's wife, identified as Maame Tweba who was afflicted, said she was stunned by her husband's act.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased was deposited at the morgue of the government hospital of Efia Nkwanta, pending an autopsy, while the suspect is behind bars.
