Five candidates with the most votes were selected to start the reality show Live Inside and Win the Ride 2019 (LIWTR).
Dennis Ananoore, Gifty Eyram Holyfa, Jason Kwadwo Sankoh, Selorm Dotse Kudiabor and Ada Atayobor were chosen from among the lucky ones.
They were unveiled as the leading candidates after the voting process at the Saturday's announcement of the competition at the Accra Mall Food Court.
The concept of the reality TV show LIWTR is to bring five people from different walks of life around the country to sit in a car for an unknown period of time.
During this period, candidates are expelled until there is only one person left. The "last man standing" wins the car.
The five were introduced in the Renault Duster commercial vehicle immediately after the announcement night to launch the reality show.
Ese Adjabeng, project manager for LIWTR, said that competitors must abide by the contest rules at all times to avoid any early expulsion from the reality show.
She stressed that no form of abuse will be tolerated as long as competitors live inside the car.
There was a voting process where the candidates chose the positions in the car where they will sit because they will be subject to frequent rotation as the parade proceeds.
The announcement evening brought together many families, friends and fans of candidates, as well as sponsors and partners of LIWTR.
The 2019 edition is sponsored by Premium Motors (Renault dealers), Accra Mall, Telefonika, Pizza Inn, Yah, Pharmacy Mall, Chicken Inn, Equator Mobile phones, Ghanaweb, Omega Securities, Total Clinic and The Banzini Restaurant .
