Liverpool has ended a memorable campaign in 2018/19 with glorious success in the Champions League – but after the heartbreak of the Premier League, they are looking to come back stronger.
The Reds had unforgettable nights last season, including their remarkable return to the Champions League semifinal against Barcelona at Anfield, preparing them to defeat Tottenham in the final.
But they missed the glory of the Premier League just one point from Manchester City and will now look to do better to end the drought of their title.
While Jurgen Klopp 's first team is sprinkled with stars, several players are looking to prove their value.
Here are five players who have a point to prove to Anfield in the next 2019/20 campaign.

1) Diving Origi
The Belgian has carved out a reputation as a hero after having multiplied super performances in super performances and scored crucial goals.
These include the winner of the derby of Merseyside in stoppage time and its double against Barcelona, not to mention the strike that sealed the sixth Liverpool trophy in the Champions League.
Having signed a new long-term contract, Origi hopes to have more football in the first team in the new season.

2) Adam Lallana
Having played only 16 games per club and country in the past two seasons, Lallana hopes to have a season without injury and impress this summer to give herself a better chance of playing in regular football.
The 31-year-old will have to fight for his place against Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Naby Keita, Georginio Wijnaldum, club captain Jordan Henderson and others.
The English midfielder has not scored for the Reds since the 2016-2017 campaign.

3) Harry Wilson
Harry Wilson is determined to bring his high-level performances that saw Derby participate in last year's play-off final at Anfield.
He said: "Now I'm back here, it's up to me to try to impress the manager and get back in the team."
The Welsh international has scored 18 goals in all competitions under Frank Lampard, one of the most memorable being the superb Manchester United free kick in the Carabao Cup.
The 22-year-old signed a five-year contract with Liverpool at the start of the last term. He hopes to become a player of the first team of the season to come.

4) Rhian Brewster
Rhian Brewster has not yet made his professional debut in Liverpool but Klopp badured him of his future.
The 19-year-old has been named a substitute for the Champions League final and hopes it will only be a matter of time before being offered a chance to be part of the first team.
Brewster won the Under-17 World Cup in England as top scorer. Liverpool has a series of friendly matches ahead of season, where Klopp will give the youngster more opportunities to impress.

5) Ben Woodburn
Few people remember that it was Ben Woodburn who became Liverpool's youngest scorer in a League Cup win against Leeds United.
Woodburn, 19, had no impact during his stay in Sheffield United, he returned to Liverpool earlier after being injured in the ankle.
The Welshman will look to savor his opportunity in the pre-season to give him all his chances in the first team, before the start of the new campaign.
