More than a year and a half after the creation of Strange things 2, Strange things 3 finally reached Netflix on July 4, 2019. Expectations were high for the next long-awaited edition of the incredibly successful series, and again, everyone involved in making the show was totally satisfied. Presenting as many comforting and hilarious moments as ever and so many doses of heartache, Strange things 3 pulled on all the cylinders from beginning to end.

As we approached the third season, there were many questions that the second season left us with which we desperately needed answers. The good news is that Strange things 3 provided us with many answers, some more unexpected than others. But, of course, we now have many new issues to highlight.
ten Answered: Is the flayer mind really gone?
In the finale of the second season, "The Gate," Eleven exhibited some of her most impressive powers when she used her abilities to shut the door between Hawkins and Upside Down once and for all. With the door shut and Will exorcised Flayer's spirit, it seemed that the reign of terror of the smoky beast had finally come to an end.
Of course, the Mind Flayer never really disappeared, but remained trapped in Hawkins in a disgusting new form. During the season, Mind Flayer sought out flesh-to-skin sacrifices, ranging from rats to lifeguards to lifeguards, to try to build a new body made of tripe and bone.
9 New question: what will happen to Hawkins now?
At the beginning of Strange things 3Hawkins is a fundamentally changed place. The main street of the city is almost a ghost town after the opening of the Starcourt shopping center. At the end of the season, the Starcourt Mall became a wasteland after the decisive confrontation with the Mind Flayer.
So, with Starcourt out of the picture, what will happen to the city? Can he rebuild and survive? In addition, a report on the city seems to be broadcast as part of a series entitled Cutting Edge in the end. Will Hawkins suddenly become a national landmark for curiously supernatural individuals?
8 Answer: Why is Billy like he is?
Introduced at the beginning of Strange things 2Billy Hargrove was one of the worst characters in the series. Unequivocally badist, racist and abusive, it was hard to find a real reason to be interested in his character. But the third season was determined to make us learn more, given the leading role that he played in the overall mythology of the Mind Flayer.

And what we learned about Billy's story turned out to be heartbreaking. He once lived happily with his mother and was once a kind little loving boy. But as his domineering father became more and more violent, his mother left not only his father but also him, hardening him to the world. Only through a reconnection with these memories and a show of affection from Eleven can Billy be able to defeat the evil of the Flayer spirit and redeem himself.
7 New question: how is there a new Demogorgon?
Strange things 3 introduced a lot of new large-scale mythologies for the series, especially regarding the involvement of Russian scientists like Alexei (also known as Smirnoff), who seems determined to reopen the door between our world and the world at # 39; to. Although we still do not know what their last game is, we know something really shocking at the end of the season.
The generic scene at the end of the final reveals a sacred game changer: a new Demogorgon was spotted in captivity in Russia. Where does it come from? Did they create it? What do they plan to do with? Will it happen to Hawkins?
6 Answer: Do Hopper & Joyce have romantic feelings for each other?
It's clear since the first season of Strange things that Eleven and Mike had feelings for each other and that Jonathan and Nancy would end up finding themselves, too. At the end of Strange things 2these two romances have been solidified and prosperous. But a potentially decisive love affair was in play: that between Chef Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers.
It was clear that there was something in between these two, given the protection that they had for each other and their common history. Strange things 3 finally took the initiative to explore it thoroughly, with multiple missed dating opportunities, as well as Murray, who frankly commented on their unresolved badual tension.
5 New question: where did Byers & Eleven go?
At the end of Strange things 3, the universe of the series is very different from the one we have known for a long time. One of the most important changes is that some of the most important characters in the series leave Hawkins, perhaps forever. Joyce, Jonathan and Will Byers leave Hawkins and all the sad memories she left behind.
But they also take Eleven with them and take her under his care in the absence of Hopper. Although we know that everyone is away, we have no idea of where to go. How far do they go? Will they stay in touch? And finally, how long will it take before they go home?
4 Answer: What does the mind scout want?
Since the beginning of the series, it has never been completely clear what these monsters, be it the Demogorgon or the Mind Flayer, wanted from our world. But with Strange things 3 By giving the Flayer spirit a voice of its own in the form of host Billy Hargrove, we finally got some of the answers we've been looking for for a long time.

Eleven was the first person to get in touch with the monsters of Upside Down and the first to let them into the real world. So what does the flayer want to witn? To kill Eleven and all the others. As "Billy" explained, Mind Flayer wanted to build something big enough to destroy it first, but then everyone else she loved afterward.
3 New question: Will eleven recover his powers?
One of the most shocking consequences of Strange things 3The final battle was the revelation that Eleven, the most reliable character in the series, suddenly lost all his telekinesis abilities. This is not entirely clear why, either. Is she just excited? Or did he have something to do with the creature that she had torn from her leg?
Anyway, we have no idea if his powers will ever come back, which could be the scariest part of all. Mike seems to think that they will, but Eleven does not seem so certain. But on the other hand, it may be what she really needs to start her life outside of Hawkins, as a normal teenager without any real power.
2 Answer: will he have a true view?
In Strange things 2, the boys are considering the possibility that Will has True Sight, which would explain how Will is able to see Upside Down and its inhabitants while staying in the real world. Strange things 3 double on this connection in a new way.
Although Will may not have a real vision in gang thinking, he still has an innate connection with Mind Flayer and Upside Down. Of course, it's a handy tracing tool, but also a heartbreaking reminder of all that poor Will has gone through in the series.
1 New question: Is Hopper really alive?
The most shocking and heartbreaking moment of all Strange things 3 comes when chef Jim Hopper, always the adorable hero, seems to sacrifice himself for the greater good. In the current state of things, we are led to believe that Hopper is out, exploding alongside some scientists when Joyce used the key to close the door of Upside Down.
But is Hopper really gone? We are not so sure. A post-credit scene unfolding in Russia shows Russian guards referring to a closely guarded character as being "the American". Is it possible that Hopper escaped before the explosion? We are not sure. But we hope that is the case. Even when trying to think of Strange things without Hopper feels bad.
