The first episode of SmackDown Live after Royal Rumble played on all the stories that came out of the event. SmackDown was the only brand to have changed titles at this event, as the new USA and Team Champions were crowned, while Becky Lynch won the Women's Royal Rumble.
Subsequently, all the winners and losers of the event took part in matches and segments. Becky Lynch and Charlotte were the first to influence the show.
Shane McMahon and The Miz celebrated their championship win and Shane announced a four-to-one death match for the night to determine the number one contenders for their titles.
Andrade takes his rivalry with Rey Mysterio, while a new US champion is crowned to general surprise. The series was solid and well delivered, which allowed to develop the plot.

# 5 The Bar are the scapegoats of the WWE
The bar is comprised of two of WWE's best superstars, Sheamus and Cesaro.
The duo became an unlikely team that managed to dominate the Raw and SmackDown team divisions for almost two years.
While they were four times Raw team champions, it was these two men who lost to Braun Strowman and Nicholas at WrestleMania 34, which was a huge slap.
Shortly after being drafted at SmackDown, they competed for the team titles of the brand and managed to win at SmackDown 1000 after defeating The New Day.
Unfortunately, again, the bar lost the titles to the benefit of a makeshift team consisting of The Miz and Shane McMahon. While the bar has managed to overcome the biggest threats of the team division, it is strange to see the WWE force them to lose to makeshift teams.
The duo lost their match for a chance in place of the number one contender for the championship, and it looks like they will slowly escape into the team division of the blue mark for a while.
