The property has not been an easy sale. 50 Cent has been striving for years to find a buyer for the complex. Its sale price is 84% lower than its first asking price 12 years ago, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Prior to the sale, Zillow was told to be available for rent for $ 100,000 per month.

A 50-cent spokesperson told the Wall Street Journal that the proceeds from the sale of the house would be donated to the rapper's non-profit foundation, the G-Unity Foundation.

50 Cent would have purchased the property of boxing star Mike Tyson in 2003 for $ 4.1 million.
