When Roman Abramovich became the owner of Chelsea in 2003, the Blues turned to the transfer market for a divine transformation. This trend has been maintained despite the club's 13 club turnovers since Stamford Bridge.

Davide Zappacosta

Lampard received Reece James, a young and local, returning from an incredibly impressive season at Wigan, while center back Fikayo Tomori performed well under Derby's eyes.
Zappacosta's time in Chelsea is certainly over and the most likely return to his homeland seems most likely.
Michy Batshuayi
The Batman found life difficult at Stamford Bridge for two seasons in the first team, following his transfer of £ 35 million from Marseille in July 2016. He then joined Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and the Crystal Palace on loan, returning to Chelsea in the hope of making a good impression under Lampard.
Tammy Abraham will have a chance to shine next season and the Blues have many advanced options to follow with Willian, Pedro, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Olivier Giroud and new recruit Christian Pulisic, all eager to impress.
Batshuayi is currently on pre-season tour in Japan at Chelsea, where he will want to improve his fitness. Nevertheless, it seems likely to move on before closing the summer transfer window.
David Luiz
Yes really. The best days of the Brazilian, aged 32, are behind him wearing his blues shirt, and Luiz could leave to make room for younger blood.
Kurt Zouma has been badociated with a permanent transfer to Everton after the success of his loan period last season at Goodison Park, but could remain in place and play a bigger role in Chelsea. Lampard wants the 24-year-old Frenchman to stay and Zouma could compete with Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger and Tomori for a first birth.
Luiz recently signed a two-year contract extension with the Blues, which means he'll probably stay for at least a year. If that's the case, the youngest players should come first.
Tiemoue Bakayoko
Signed from Monaco in 2017 for £ 40 million, central midfielder Bakayoko has struggled from the start and was loaned last season to Milan. He had mixed times in Italy, recovering his marks after a slow start before getting into trouble with Gennaro Gattuso.
With Loftus-Cheek, Barkley, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic, he definitely signed up and Kanté is likely to regain his privileged defensive role in the middle of the field. There is not much room for Bakayoko in the eleventh departure from Lampard.
