Professor Kofi Agyekum, dean of the School of Performing Arts, better known as Opanyin Agyekum, said that Ghanaians must show "respect" to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, at the age of 75 years.

According to him, party communicators who "provoke" the president with "direct insults" must be cautious.

"They should be wondering when they will reach the age of the president" – he said on Peace FM morning "kokrokoo" on the eve of the president's birthday.

Today, March 29, 2019 marks the 75th anniversary of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

President Akufo-Addo is absent in the United States and Cuba, but many Ghanaians welcome social media.

The president was born William Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on March 29, 1944 in Accra.
