The chaplain of Nsawam's medium security prisons, Chief Superintendent of Prisons, Martin Padi, announced the revelation Saturday when visiting this portal in jails.
According to him, the women were behind bars for the crimes they committed against their husbands.
He did not specify the various crimes they committed but said that most of the problems that led to the commission of these crimes were related to fraud.
According to him, there were approximately 3,450 detainees in Nsawam Prisons.
He added that some were considered as convicted, sentenced and remanded.
The chaplain pointed out that the eight women were convicted not for theft or theft, but for hurting the same men with whom they "do" with the altar.
