Ludovit Reis signed a contract this morning with the FC Barcelona player. That's what he did this morning at the Ciutat Esportiva, Joan Gamper, in the presence of director Silvio Elias, head of professional junior football at the club, formalizing the deal for the next three seasons , until 2022, with an option of adding two years. The transfer fee for the move of FC Groningen is € 3.25 million and the player will have a release clause of € 100 million.
The Dutch midfielder pbaded a medical examination yesterday afternoon. Josep Segura, Football Director, and Junior Professional Football Officials José Mari Bakero and Guillermo Amor also attended the signing of the contract.
International Youth with the Netherlands
Ludovit Reis will turn 19 on June 1 st. In the past two seasons, he has played in 50 official matches with Groningen's first team for which he scored two goals. Born of Slovakian parents, he holds a Dutch pbadport since July 2018. Reis attended a training course in Hoofddorp until 2015, when he joined Groningen Youth Training. He made his debut with the first team on September 21, 2017 against the USV Hercules in a Dutch Cup match. His first participation in the Eredevisie took place a month later, against AZ Alkmaar. He represented the Netherlands at under-19 and under-21 level.
