A new lottery game with a 30-year payout jackpot has seen its first big winner since its launch two months ago.
No player matched the six numbers usually required to win the jackpot in the Set For Life game, which earns £ 10,000 a month for three decades, but two ticket holders have benefited from what Camelot's organizers have called a draw. "Super luck".
Both players will each receive the first prize to match the five main numbers.
The numbers were 15, 21, 31, 44, 45 and the Life Ball was 03.
Andy Carter, Senior Advisor to the National Lottery Winners, said, "Tonight's Set For Life draw is an unforgettable memory, as we crown the first-ever winners of the first prize – two of them, in fact, who have each won 10,000 a month, each month for 30 years.
"A super-lucky draw will take at least one first prize winner – in the five main numbers of the match, plus Life Ball, in five price levels corresponding to the main number.
"In tonight's draw, no player matched five main numbers or the ball of life, but two players who match five main numbers are now ready for life.
"They can live the good life with an extra £ 10,000 at the bank month after month to fulfill their dreams. If you had a chance, check your numbers to see if you are ready for life. "
