Piranha Bytes, game developer Risen and Gothic, will become a new owner.

There has been a lot of news in recent years about which company or intellectual property you just bought. THQ Nordic. Half of his name is constantly won by a buying company and has just hit a new development team: this time Piranha Bytes became the victim.

the Gothic and resurrected RPG series, and more recently ELEXThis is so that the German team can work with a strengthened financial background. This has not been officially mentioned, but signs indicate that ELEX will continue. But as the rights of their other games are under the jurisdiction of THQ Nordic, it is not excluded that Gothic or Risen continue to be awarded later.

The acquisition has not yet been approved by the Piranha Bytes Supervisory Board, but it should soon be the subject of a comment. ■
