Hislop claims that Griezmann ranks only behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in world football.
And therefore, he doubts that the 28-year-old wants to go to a club that does not participate in the European club competition.
"I'm sure Manchester United are interested," Hislop said.
"Who would not be Antoine Griezmann?
"First of all, I do not understand what I emit a video, but finally.
"It does not make much sense to me.
"Antoine Griezmann considers himself the third best player in the world.
"Now, whether you agree with him or not, we can debate it separately.
"But it's like that he thinks.
"Does Antoine Griezmann leave Atletico Madrid to go to Manchester United and not play football in the Champions League? I do not think so.
"I'm going to put it like a miss."
