Carl Mørck (Nikolaj Lie Kaas), investigator of the special branch Q for unresolved criminal cases, tackles a new and old mystery: in 1987, several people disappeared without trace – and they all seemed to be in contact with the same nobody. To reopen the case, Carl and his partner Assad (Fares Fares) must go to an island once inhabited by women, who were rejected by the company. Could one of these women have taken a vicious revenge on their executioners?
