A mother-in-five battling a terminal cancer received a card asking her to "stop begging for money" after her friends had collected more than £ 6,000 for her treatment.
Karen Land, 40, from Retford in Nottinghamshire, received the twisted message in her mailbox on Saturday, January 12th.

The firefighter learned that she had had two aggressive brain tumors in August of last year, just weeks after bad cancer had been administered to her.
Tumors were also found in his lungs on October 4 after continuing a tight program of tests and treatments.
The card, on which "I think of you", contained the message: "Stop begging for money!
"Enough, that's enough, with raffles, just funding.
"Why do you always want people to give you money?
"What will happen to the money when there is no cure for you?"
The card was stamped but had not been mailed, which worries Karen to know that it may be from someone she knows well.

Karen told Lincolnshire Live: "I was just shocked that someone did that to someone in my position.
"I do not understand how a person can be so disturbed by my life that she strives to do something like that.
"I am not angry, I would have liked to discuss the matter with them, I think I am inclined to say that they are more to be pitied."
A JustGiving page for Karen raised more than £ 6,200 of the £ 30,000 needed for cancer treatment in Germany.
She posted her frustration on Facebook after climbing out of a fire engine barely able to climb a flight of stairs.
Karen says she is touched by the support she has received since the card arrived.
"I've been bombarded with Facebook support messages," she said. "I like to move and remind everyone, but I have struggled to keep up because there were so many messages.
"Everyone was really positive."

Karen said last year that she would not stop fighting cancer.
She said, "I do not want to be aware of the news, I'm determined to always fight and stay positive, I do not want it to take the time I'm supposed to enjoy.
"I always wake up in the morning with a smile smiling, I guess I became a little complacent when I got cancer the first time, but I'm ready to do everything in my power to m & # To get rid of it. " "
