LONDON: It's not just about fans, but about "Game of Thrones" star Charles Dance, who is confused about the season finale for the hit HBO series.

The 72-year-old actor, who was playing Tywin Lannister in the epic fantasy show, was disappointed to see major characters left alive.

"I was confused, I watched as much as I could, I wanted to know what was happening to these characters … We come to the last big series, we come to the end and I have thought: "Hmm, OK."

"There is a little Arya going on a cruise somewhere, poor Jon has gone up north, beyond the wall and then there is Tyrion, and all the people left alive are somehow sitting around the table and go: do now, will we have a cup of tea or something? And I thought, "Oh, I do not know," he told Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, as part of the show "Good Morning Britain".

David Benioff and Dan B Weiss, the stars of "GoT", have been heavily criticized by hardcore fans for their sudden changes in character arches and poor portrayals of their female characters, including those of Daenerys Targaryen at the time. last season.

Dance's Tywin was killed by his son, Tyrion (played by Peter Dinklage), in the fourth season of the series.
