Arena, WWE items and start time of the show

WWE Raw returns to Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO. after appearing just six months ago in November, shortly after Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. Ironically, we are on the way to the next edition of the Super Showdown by Saudi Arabia, scheduled to take place on June 7th, what WWE simply tells us is from "Jeddah".

Here's what has been announced so far for tonight's show:

Matches & Segments:

  • Brock Lesnar will announce his decision
  • The future of the US championship to tackle

Tracking the story:

  • 24/7 chaos continues
  • Who will be Becky Lynch's next challenge?

Decision by Brock Lesnar

As we know, Brock Lesnar won the Money in the Bank contract of 2019.

Last week at Raw, Brock brought us back in the 1980s taking out the briefcase as a boombox. Nevertheless, Brock's attorney, Paul Heyman, nicknamed him "the supplier of paranoia" and quickly rejected the claim that Brock would attack Sami Zayn, the man from whom Brock was in eighth place in the ladder match. Money in the Bank.

Seth Rollins, WWE Universal champion, went out and tried to charge Brock for the contract. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, via the joker, did the same. He invoked the creation of his legacy and his desire to be one of the best of all time to explain why he wanted Brock to bring him up to date. Paul Heyman said to stay because Kofi & Seth had a tag match later and the "Beast was yet to come".

Kofi and Seth went on to defeat the dynamic and charismatic duo of Baron Corbin & Bobby Lashley in the final segment. They would then be attacked by Lashley and we would hear Brock's music. Brock arrived with Heyman and cashed with Kofi and Seth who were in the ring side by side, belt in hand. Brock left the ring with Heyman telling him that he had a cool head and that they could come back next week (tonight) to inform them of Brock's decision. Here's a little chat on Twitter last week:

Memo to @WERERLINS and or @TrueKofi (or maybe even @ HEELZiggler): Good evening sirs. My client and I looked at all the options. Here is absolutely absolutely GUARANTEED: @BrockLesnar is in control. This is not a prediction. It's a spoiler! pic.twitter.com/bogm8zC4yt

Do not forget that Kofi defends his WWE title against the return of Dolph Ziggler to the Super Showdown. Seth does not have an opponent for "the international event". Brock makes his decision tonight.

Frank's badysis: I do not know everyone, but I did not think he would cash in last week. It would not surprise me, although the WWE says that Brock makes his decision tonight, if he does not really do it and decides to drag him out. Logically, as Seth has no opponent for Saudi Arabia and Brock is the guy Seth defeated at WrestleMania, one would think they would go to that match. If they had to do it, it would be pointless, at least for me, to make money at the bank in Brock because they could have organized this match despite the fact that someone everyone else won the briefcase. Here is the bottom line. Brock will cash in the case when Vince McMahon wants to, and there is no way to guess when it will happen. We can think of it in a logical way and suggest scenarios that make sense (Saudi Arabia, PPV, Smackdown debuts on FOX), but the end result is that you never know what Vince is thinking and trying to understand is unsuccessful.

The status of the American championship

Rey Mysterio beat Samoa Joe at Money in the Bank to win his first American championship of his career. The match was cut short because of Samoa Joe's blood loss. When Rey scored the pin, one of Joe's shoulders seemed to come off the mat. The referee did not see that.

Last week, advertisers reviewed the script and told us that Rey had a separate shoulder in the match. Samoa Joe said it was a perfect opportunity for Rey to give the example to her son Dominic and give the title to Joe. Here is this clip and the tweets of Joe and Rey during the week:

There will be justice, lest the Son suffer the sins of the Father.

– Samoa Joe (@SamoaJoe) May 20, 2019

According to multiple reports, Rey is legitimately hurt. How long it will miss is unknown. Tonight we learn the status of the American Championship.

Frank's badysis: The WWE has probably refrained from doing anything because it seems that Rey is trying to rehabilitate his shoulder without surgery. There is no shortage of time, I do not see the title given to Joe, but rather a type of tournament or a mechanism to nominate someone to face Joe for the US championship, perhaps to Super Showdown. If Shane McMahon is now to be tied to Roman Reigns, then Miz would not be a bad idea to face Joe for the championship, especially if they want to put the title back on Joe. A feud Miz-Joe would not be the worst thing in the world.

24/7 chaos continues

Last week at Raw, Mick Foley, WWE Hall of Farmer, presented the championship 24/7. Like the bad Championship, it can be defended anywhere and at any time as long as a referee is present. The crowd did not receive the news enthusiastically, and even booed a bit when Mick explained the concept 24/7.

He announced that there would be a championship race, won by Titus O'Neil. Moments later, Robert Roode attacked Titus and tackled him to become the new champion. Later, after being chased by just about everyone at the bottom of the map, Roode met R-Truth who had hidden it in the trunk of his car. Once everyone was cleared, Truth let Roode out of the safe. It's a good thing that Truth knows that Roode was going to get him because he had a referee hidden in the front seat. After Truth sent her away, the referee counted three and R-Truth became the defending champion 24/7.

Last week, Drake Maverick was the one who pursues the truth the most. Here is a mix of tweets from the two gentlemen:

I could literally fill this report with tweets. Every day there is something new. What can we say? The 24/7 story continues tonight.

Frank Analysis: You can not help but feel bad for Mick, who was left for dead to present this title which the WWE did not need for a second. The problem is that this company does not use its lower card. If that's the only way to get them on TV, what can you do? It does not help either when the lower card players beat Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley, who could not be bothered by what was happening. On the other hand, I must admit that there is a level of comedy to that which makes me laugh. The truth is funny with everything he does, and Maverick who pursues him and their tweets are pretty funny.

The next Becky Lynch Challenger

Last week, Raw Women Champion Becky Lynch was invited to Alexa Bliss A Moment of Bliss. She was interrupted by WWE Women's Team Champions, The Iiconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce), who commented that Becky was no longer "Becky 2 Belts" but that they had two belts , referring to their titles. drink at this point). Lacey Evans appeared and pointed out that Becky was no longer playing the championship at Smackdown. All this led to a match against six women with Becky teaming with Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss against Iiconics and Lacey. Becky, Nikki and Alexa won when Becky pinned Kay.

Last Tuesday, Lacey spoke in an exclusive WWE.com. Here is this clip and some tweets from Becky:

Imagine how high you are when people think it's mocking to mention the fact that you only have one title. #beckyredbelt pic.twitter.com/WgN3PGT3CL

Tonight, we'll see if Lacey has a new chance against Becky or if WWE will determine another # 1 candidate.

Frank's badysis: I highly recommend, and highly recommend it, to visit PWTorch.com VIP if you want to hear something from The Fix this week with Todd Martin. It absolutely describes Becky 's poor quality reserve for both belts and the IIconics mocking her at the Moment of Bliss show. I'll add that I doubt Becky wins both titles at WrestleMania if they just want Bayley to earn Money in the Bank and cash Charlotte Flair the same evening. While I was against the gimmick, Becky 2 Belts would have done much better if she had won both her matches at MITB and established that she was an unstoppable champion. That would have meant that the beat made sense. I understand that Lacey's interference protected Becky from MITB against Charlotte, but the fact that she made fun of the IIconics made her ridiculous. At least she tackled it on Twitter. She should have been furious Monday night and pointed out the absurdity of what Lacey had cost her the title of Smackdown. Since Becky beat Lacey at MITB, and tackled Smackdown in a team match, why do I want to see Lacey against Becky again?

Not announced for follow up

  • Braun Strowman beat Sami Zayn in a minute after a pre-game attack.
  • Lucha House Party has interrupted Lars Sullivan who was about to be interviewed by Charly Caruso in the ring.
  • Cesaro has defeated Ricochet. Ricochet was selling an injury during the Money in the Bank match.
  • UN J. Styles says it's time to start from scratch after losing to Seth Rollins in an attempt to become
  • WWE Universal Champion. Baron Corbin interrupted and was slapped in the face by A.J.
  • Shane McMahon accepted the challenge of Roman Reigns in a Super Showdown match. Reigns was on Raw via the wild card (really Vince McMahon's ruler I-Want-Reigns-on-the-two-shows but who asks for it). Drew McIntyre has accompanied Shane and seems to be playing Shane's "heavy" role at the moment.
  • Speaking of Drew, he defeated Miz, who told Shane he was not done with him. Drew said that if he had a problem Shane, he had a problem with him.
  • The awakening has defeated the Usos. Fortunately, no grooming or medicated product was involved
  • Part IV of the Firefly Funhouse has aired. It was a quick video showing happy children becoming sad children. Scary masked bray appeared saying "let me in."
