The Energy Minister said the residents of Krobo Odumase, in the East region, were right to protest the scandalous electricity bills they were receiving from the society of distribution of electricity.
"I support 100% the people of Krobo Odumase for claiming their rights because I will not tolerate such nonsense," said John Peter Amewu Monday during a visit to the family of the little boy who lost the life when the young protester clashed with the police the week.

Condolent with the family of the deceased teenager, Mr. Amewu called the development of "totally misplaced".

Why PDS was brought

He promised that the government would support the bereaved family during the funeral and burial of the teenager and ensured his determination to ensure that justice is done to the family.
