Former President Jerry John Rawlings is one of Ghana's most admired leaders. Even after almost 20 years of the end of his term, Rawlings still has many followers.

This is due to its charismatic nature and the way it proposes to serve the poor and oppressed in society.

Once again, former President Rawlings has gained admiration with his realistic attitude.

In a new video seen by YEN.com.ghRawlings was seen helping some women get ready.

Rawlings approached women who had fired a large cauldron (dadesen) filled with water and had poured akple powder into it.

When Rawlings arrived there, the women gave him the wooden spatula (banku ta) and he took over to stir the food.

Seconds later, the former president repositioned himself to do the moving work very well.

Rawlings' gesture excited the women and other people present who could be heard speaking ewe.

Rawlings YEN.com.gh meets, attended the Ho akple festival and the video was probably taken from there.

Rawlings' latest video comes about three months after photos of him driving traffic in Accra appeared on the Internet.
