The US decision to place Huawei on a blacklist of trade "creates a dangerous precedent" that will hurt billions of consumers, said the firm's top legal officer.
Speaking at a press conference, Song Liuping said the ban on trade would also be "directly detrimental" to US companies and would affect employment.
Washington recently added Huawei to a list of companies with which US companies can not trade unless they obtain a license.
The ban on trade is part of a larger battle between the United States and Huawei.
Washington has decided to block the Chinese company, the world's largest manufacturer of telecommunication equipment, for reasons of national security.
Huawei has repeatedly denied allegations that the use of its products poses any security risks, and claims to be independent of the Chinese government.
"US politicians use the strength of an entire nation to turn to a private company," Song said.
He added that the decision to include Huawei, which is also the world's second largest maker of smartphones, on the "list of entities" would have far-reaching consequences.
"This decision threatens to hurt our customers in more than 170 countries, including more than three billion consumers who use Huawei products and services around the world."
"By preventing US companies from doing business with Huawei, the government will directly hurt more than 1,200 US companies, which will affect tens of thousands of US jobs."
"No smoke, only speculations"
S addressing reporters in Shenzhen, Mr. Song also described the steps Huawei has taken in connection with a lawsuit filed against the US government in March.
The case concerns restrictions preventing US federal agencies from using Huawei products.
The company said it had filed a motion for "summary judgment", asking the US courts to speed up the process in order to "stop the illegal actions against the company".
"The US government has not provided any evidence showing that Huawei represents a security threat.There are no guns, no smoke, only speculation," said M Song.
A hearing on the motion was scheduled for September 19.
Fears of safety
In recent months, the United States has led other countries to block the use of Huawei products, fearing that the Chinese government will not use it to do surveillance.
Chinese society has become a central element of a wider conflict between the United States and China, which has mainly manifested itself through a trade war.
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, however, sought to connect the two, saying recently that Huawei could be part of a trade agreement between the United States and China.
