The Ghana Electoral Commission has scheduled commitments with key stakeholders in the country as part of its operations.

The commitment, according to the election management body, should give the commission the opportunity to receive the first-hand concerns of Ghanaians regarding its operations.

In a statement issued and signed by Sylvia Annoh on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, "as part of the efforts of the Electoral Commission to demystify its operations and bring the Citizens' Commission closer together, the Ghana Electoral Commission has initiated consultations with key stakeholders. in society.

"The purpose of these consultations is to hear directly the concerns and concerns of key stakeholders regarding the Commission and its activities. In addition, the commitments will provide the Electoral Commission with an opportunity to inform stakeholders of its current activities and prospects for the future.

"The delegation is composed of Mrs. Jean Mensa, President; Dr. Bossman Eric Asare, Vice President, Corporate Services; Mr. Samuel Tettey, Vice President of Operations; and other commissioners.

The Commission will meet with clergy, traditional leaders, past presidents and civil society organizations.

The statement further stated: "The Commission has already visited several media companies, including Multimedia, Citi FM, Despite Corporate Groups, Graphic Communications Group and the Ghana Journalists Association.
