Yandex, the biggest technology company in Europe, is about to disrupt the market for taxi services in Ghana with Yango
A source close to the reporter said the world's tech giant, Yandex, was ready to disrupt the taxi service sector in Ghana.
Yango is a technology application developed by one of Europe's largest technology companies, Yandex, which operates in more than 300 cities in 15 countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Unlike competitors, Yango has its own mapping and navigation system. This minimizes the time taken by the driver and arrival at destination, which significantly reduces the net cost of the journey.
It is expected that tariffs on Yango will drastically decrease. One of the main benefits of Yango's service will be that drivers may not have to pay a commission at the start.
