Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari said he has not acquired any major badets since his first term as president in 2015, reports the Daily Trust newspaper.
The law required Mr Buhari to provide a new declaration of his badets before being sworn in for a second term on Wednesday.
According to the Daily Trust, the latest statement indicates that the president's badets have hardly changed since his previous statement in 2015.
In other words, he has not acquired any new homes, stocks or bank accounts in Nigeria or abroad.
"The president owns five houses in Kaduna, Daura, Kano and Abuja, as well as two undeveloped land, one in Kano and the other in Port Harcourt," the newspaper quoted by the office of President.
"Buhari also owns farms, an orchard, a ranch, cattle including 270 cattle, 25 sheep, five horses, a variety of birds and several economic trees," the newspaper adds.
Mr. Buhari has cultivated a reputation for integrity, contrasting with the popular opinion of Nigerian politicians.
His campaign has adopted a broom as a symbol, representing his declared mission of cleaning politics.
