Kit Harington is bursting into tears in a heartbreaking video as he says goodbye to Game of Thrones.
The star, who played the role of Jon Snow in the epic fantasy HBO, moved more and more excited as he delivered a powerful speech in front of his co-stars and the shooting of the team was over .
After filming his last scenes, Kit spoke to the band saying, "I have the impression that my heart is breaking. I love this show."
Kit, 32, takes a second to pull himself together to hold back his tears before continuing: "More than anything, I think.
"It has never been a job for me, it has been my life, and it will always be the best thing I do and I will be a part of it, and you have only been my family.
"I love you for that, and thank you very much."
This heartbreaking moment was broadcast in a two-hour documentary called Game of Thrones: the last day before, shortly before Kit moved to a rehabilitation facility where he was treated for stress and alcohol consumption during the broadcast of the last series.
The showrunner DB Weiss also delivered a speech that left the stars in tears.
He told Kit: "Ten years ago, you walked into Nina Gold's office … and here we are, your watch is over …
"And it was a horrible watch for us, for these people and for so many others in the world.
"Thank you for being Jon Snow and thank you more than that for being you."
It was revealed earlier this week that Kit had participated in the Privé-Swiss luxury retirement in Connecticut.
Kit said he found "stressful" to film the eighth and final series of the series, especially after discovering that his character had murdered Daenerys Targaryen in the final episode.
His representative said Tuesday: "Kit has decided to use this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend time at a retreat for wellness and to work on personal issues."
The statement did not give details of his problems.
