Yeboah Mante1 Teacher. Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante

Reverend Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, called on the government to provide the necessary security to the churches to prevent terrorist attacks on congregations.

He added that with the necessary resources and personnel, security agencies could provide the quality of personnel capable of identifying and arresting terrorists who would enter churches to attack the congregation.

Rt. Professor Mante said this during the inauguration of a magnificent church building built by Mr. Ebenezer Yaw Sarpong, citizen of the city, for the Ramseyer congregation of the church Presbyterian of Akwasiho, in the Kwahu East district, in the East region.

He urged the congregation to contribute to the maintenance of the building and to unite to fight against all the terrorists likely to attack the Church.

The moderator of the General Assembly advised wealthy people in the community to provide the social amenities needed to improve the standard of living of society members.

He called on the wealthy community to build a police station for the community.

Mr. Sarpong, a building contractor, said that the construction of the chapel was a prophecy that had occurred and explained that the Reverend Minister of the Church, Reverend Simmon Asare Antwi, had told him a few years ago to build a chapel for the Lord. This is how he started building the building in 2003 to replace the old one built by the missionaries over 70 years ago.
