"We will not stand by and wait for the Electoral Commission (EC) to do everything wrong to refuse the results," said Asiedu Nketiah, secretary general of the National Democratic Congress.
According to him, they will use all the legitimate means for the EC to operate in compliance with the law before the general elections of 2020.

At the same time, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is calling for the resignation of Mr Bossman Asare, Vice-President of the Electoral Commission (EC).
The party maintains that its retention in office makes it impossible for the Commission to trust the 2020 elections.
The NDC said its removal was crucial for maintaining the country's democratic stability, said its secretary general, Asiedu Nketia.
