Rabbi Matondo Schalke Escorted Out of Flight by Police for "Disruptive Behavior"

Rabbi Matondo, a Schalke striker, was escorted Tuesday night on an Easyjet plane by three police officers after "disruptive behavior on board".

The winger was sailing from Faro, Portugal – where he had competed at the Wales training camp for his next qualifying matches for the European Championship – until Bristol, where he three officers were welcomed on their arrival.

As reported by BBC SportThe Wales Football Association was informed of the incident and a spokesperson issued a statement saying: "The Wales Football Association is aware of a complaint lodged on board a flight to Bristol Airport involving a member of the Men's National Team.

"The issue has been resolved quickly and the Association will not comment anymore."

Matondo, who has joined Schalke from Manchester City in January for £ 11.29m, has already won two selections for the Dragons after making debut in November 2018 against Albania.

Explaining the incident in more detail, a spokesman for EasyJet revealed: "The EZY6008 flight from Faro to Bristol on May 28 was met by the police on landing as a result of the unpleasant pbadage of a pbadenger on board.

"Although such incidents are rare, we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behavior.The safety and well-being of pbadengers and crew are always the priority of EasyJet .

A spokesman for the Avon and Somerset police said: "We were called in on a plane arriving from Faro on Tuesday night and talked to a number of pbadengers about their bad behavior. Advice was given to these pbadengers. No criminal offense has been committed and no one has been arrested. "
