Tesla opened its Model 3 Vehicle Configurator to a handful of new countries in the wider Asia-Pacific region as it began to spread its wings beyond its original Asian bridgehead in China .

Starting today, customers in Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand can log in for the first time to the configurator to build their model 3, view prices in their local currency and place orders. .

Meanwhile, in China, Tesla has opened the floodgates to allow its customers to configure for the first time their own Tesla Model 3, manufactured in China, clearly indicating that the company is currently intensifying its activities in Shanghai Gigafactory 3. the first productions in the new factory are scheduled for later this year.

The new models 3 made in China will start at 328,000 RMB, or $ 47,475 at today's exchange rate. The first models 3 coming out of the Gigafactory 3 production lines are expected to be 2019 model year vehicles and will offer a nominal range of 460 km (NEDC) per charge.

Now, Tesla China has officially announced that the Made in China ✨✨ Model 3 SR Plus✨ has a cruising range of 460 km (NEDC rating), starting at 328,000 RMB, and that the expected delivery time is 6 to 10 months and the vehicle reservations are officially open !! $ TSLA #You're here #China #TeslaChina # Model3 pic.twitter.com/hp7KM2C3hM

Tesla China then went on the dominant social media platform of the region, Weibo, to announce the first order of the Model 3 Chinese-controlled model 3 model. It was placed within 3 minutes of the launch of the new order portal. The company also said its site was extremely high volumes and asked users to be patient when orders first arrived.

Of #You're here China officially Weibo:
"The first order made within 3 minutes of opening the reservation. Due to the high demand of Chinese-made model 3 on Tesla's official website, traffic is too much, please wait. Or visit the stores "$ TSLA #TeslaChina pic.twitter.com/cQnAPUycjX

During the first quarter of 2019, in parallel, Tesla launched its model 3 in a handful of Western European countries and endangered its mental health and the stability of its supply chain. Inventory in transit has exploded, while deliveries in many countries have been delayed by logistical problems of all shapes and sizes, as Tesla worked to define new work processes, understand the challenge of providing tens of thousands of vehicles built entirely in new areas and ironing out the delivery that followed.

The first signs of the second quarter indicate that Tesla recovered from the disorder that prevailed in the first quarter of 2019 and instituted a semblance of stability in the second quarter. As Tesla, they can not seem to be too critical and continue to penetrate new markets to create even more problems for even more customers around the world with the addition of these new countries.

Later this year, the company Gigafactory 3 will start and the company could even inform us of its intention to plant manufacturing roots in Europe, with an announcement regarding the official location of Gigafactory 4 planned for the coming year.

If you are in the market for a Tesla, find someone on the spot you know (as in real life) and use his referral code. If you do not know anyone with a Tesla, go find someone at your local Supercharger and try not to be a monster by asking them for their reference code (that will not bother them). If that does not work, ask a colleague or distant relative, post it on Facebook or Twitter, or just go to Google. If all else fails and it's an odd day without too much sun, you can use my Tesla referral link to get 1,000 miles of free boost, I guess.
