Black Stars player Kwadwo Asamoah will be reunited with former coach Antonio Conte after Italian giant Inter Milan announced his arrival as club manager.

Asamoah, who has joined Inter Milan in free transfer since Juventus a year ago, hopes to have another successful pbad with the Italian coach after his trophy-laden move to Juventus.

Conte replaces Lociano Spalleti who was sacked by the Italian giants at the end of the season and will be eager to bring back the club to his hour of glory.

Asamoah, 30, who was deployed by the Italian tactician on his return to Juventus, hopes to replicate his success in Turin, where he won three league titles in three seasons of 2011 and 2014.

In office for a year since being fired at Chelsea, Conté said he was happy to return to the dugout and ready to repay the club directors with the confidence they granted him.

"A new chapter in my life is starting, I'm really excited," said Conte on Inter's official website.

"As part of my job, I will try to give all the confidence that the president and the administrators have placed in me. I chose Inter for his club, for the solid project base and his ambition.

"I've been struck by the transparency of the club and the desire to bring Inter where it belongs," he added.
