The Assistance Committee Beyond Ghana apologized for the photo used for the cover of the strategy document.

According to a statement of the committee, the photo "emanates from Kenya".

"The committee apologizes to the president and the nation unreservedly for this mistake and badumes full responsibility," said committee secretary Eric Yeboah.

The committee said it would replace the photo before bulk copies are printed for wide distribution.

President Nana Akufo-Addo launched the document on May 1, 2019.

He said the essence was to create a self-sustaining and prosperous nation, governed by respect for the rule of law, respect for human rights and individual freedoms, as well as the principles of democratic accountability.

It turns out that the photo used on the cover of the document was not an original photo, but of Kenya.
