It is well known that Asus likes to innovate in the design of his devices. For example, the Taiwanese manufacturer has already proven in devices such as Fonepad or Padfone that he was not afraid of unusual design solutions. With the new Zenbook Pro Duo, Asus is still surpbaded.
After all, the notebook is equipped with two 4K screens. The main OLED display has a diagonal of 15.6 inches, a 16: 9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The second screen is called Screenpad Plus. The screen covers the entire width of the notebook and has a very unusual 32: 9 picture size. The Screenpad Plus (3840 x 1100 pixels) can be used both to enlarge the desktop and, as for the Macbook's touchbar, controls and display tools.
The Zenbook is equipped with an Intel Core i – maximum with Core i9. Nvidia's Geforce RTX 2060 graphics card, SSD per terabyte and up to 32GB of RAM are also on board.
From 2400 euros
The new Zenbook is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2019 and will be available from 2399 euros. Who would like it cheaper, gets a lighter version from 1099 euros. The Zenbook Duo is equipped with a 14-inch screen and a 12-inch Screenpad Plus (with Full HD resolution) and features a Core i7 processor in its maximum configuration.
