Former Black Eyed Peas star Fergie demands divorce from Josh Duhamel of Transformers

The former Black Eyed Peas singer, Fergie, has filed for divorce from his former partner, Transformers and Love, Simon the actor Josh Duhamel.

As reported by TMZ, The singer filed for divorce yesterday (May 31) in Pasadena, California, nearly two years after the confirmation of their separation in 2017.

The duo began dating in 2004 and became engaged in 2007. Two years later, they bonded and welcomed a child, Axl, in 2013.

At the time of their separation, the two men issued a statement in which he stated: "In order to give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted it to remain a private matter before sharing it with the public.

"We are and will always be united in our mutual support and our family."

Although they released their split in September 2017, the divorce documents indicate that they had separated earlier in the year.

A little more than a month after the announcement of his separation from Duhamel, Fergie also discussed the separation during an interview with Wendy Williams in October 2017.

"It was not my plan, I wanted to stay together forever," Fergie said. "I love Josh, he is the father of my child.We always have this project together and we are doing our best."

Also in 2017, will.i.am confirmed that Fergie had left the Black Eyed Peas, but the group claimed that they were all still friends at their meeting for the July 4th weekend of the week. ;Next year.
