Kojo Frempong, the 2014 television host in Ghana, earned Thursday an MA in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

The former host of the Boys Boys and Sports 3 lifestyle show from Viasat One has been back for some time and seems to be taking a different direction in his public career. His last television job was at TV Africa, where he hosted the Ghana Tonight Show, a political badysis program, and also served as chief of operations for the television channel.

"This period at Harvard University has been very rewarding," said Kojo Frempong. some of the smartest people in the world. It was truly a humiliating experience.

"The challenge," he continued, "will be to adapt our knowledge and skills to providing the solutions needed to improve the lives of Ghanaians. I had the chance to work at the Ministry of Enterprise Development under the leadership of Mr. Awal Mohammed and I pray that, in all humility, God strengthens our ability to do even more for Ghanaians.

It does not appear that Kojo Frempong is coming back to the screen soon, although he insisted that he has ideas for several shows.

"Do not count me yet. There are many concepts for TV shows that continue to appear, but they conflict with other huge considerations in my mind. At present, I am extremely grateful to President Nana Akufo Addo for her vision of Ghana. When he came here for the Africa Development Conference at Harvard, his message was clear. Africa must radically change its approach to development because aid dependency has been lacking. We must see Africa beyond aid and Ghana must lead this change. This vision puts Ghanaians in charge of influencing change and I pray that grace will be part of this exciting endeavor. So maybe I should find my level before going back to TV but do not count me yet. "

Kojo Frempong has a long badociation of radio and television having worked for Skyy Power Fm in Takoradi, Joy Fm, TV 3 and Viasat 1 TV. He has won awards both as a sports journalist and lifestyle presenter and has been named best television presenter in 2014 and 2015 at the awards of radio and television.
