Princess Beatrice's boyfriend ties her fingers with her and her sister Eugénie at a party

Strolling hand in hand with a princess lucky enough to have two in the arm could be considered downright greedy.

But those who know him best say that the boyfriend of the Princess Beatrice, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, has always been a lucky man.

The 35-year-old real estate developer joined Beatrice, 30, and her younger sister, Eugenie, at a party in Notting Hill, West London, on Friday.

In fact, it was a double appointment. Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank, walked a certain distance, turning at one point to implore others to hurry.

Perhaps given the company, Edoardo might have tried a little harder with his shoes. He wore mismatched sneakers that looked remarkable even on Portobello Road, where the famous street market is held.

Beatrice did not bother him. The couple seemed as inseparable as ever.

Although they have known each other for years, their love story only began last fall and quickly deepened, with friends predicting the sound of the bell. 39, a marriage before long.

But friends say that Beatrice and he are 'happily happy' together.
