Speaking in the monthly GJA / STAR-Ghana Citizen Outreach Program, dubbed "We, the People," Mr. Darimani, said that elections alone can not guarantee self-reliance for development. , at the base, especially when it will take place within the party.
He also expressed doubts as to whether the election of MMDCEs could address the challenges of resource allocation at the local level and called for an in-depth examination of alternative ways of mobilizing and allocating resources. resources on time.
Dr. Darimani was of the opinion that Ghana could learn and relearn with the decentralization process by electing MMDCEs. However, actions must be well implemented in order to reap maximum benefits.
