After seven glorious years as a Chelsea player, we accept the fact that Eden Hazard's farewell performance in Chelsea shirt took place in Baku on Wednesday night.

It remains to be seen if this will do the trick.
However, if Real Madrid thinks it can persuade Chelsea to reach an agreement, it should perhaps take into account the comments of its former president, Ramon Calderon, who, as reported by Sky Sports, warned his former club of not being sure. Wait until Chelsea reduces the player, noticing:
"It seems that the danger is coming and that it is very good news for Real Madrid. I think that now it is a question of money. The player clearly indicated that he wanted to leave and that he wanted to meet a new challenge.
"It's not fair to keep a player who's been here for seven years and still has a year of contract."
Let's hope that Real Madrid, considering that we seem to have realized that the end is close with regard to Hazard's career at Chelsea, will take these words into account and offer Chelsea the real value of the players.
