Gini Wijnaldum loses his phone at the Liverpool victory parade – that's what he's recorded

Gini Wijnaldum was fortunate to escape by dropping his cell phone while he was celebrating Liverpool's win in the Champions League – and miraculously, that was not broken.

Hundreds of thousands of Reds fans walked the streets of Liverpool to see the players show the trophy in an open top bus, the course then touring the city.

Liverpool took the win in Madrid after a 2-0 win over Tottenham, with an early penalty from Mohamed Salah and a late strike from Divock Origi sealing the win.

Wijnaldum was photographed with the trophy in the plane and seemed to want to continue the party when he appeared on the bus to Liverpool.

He appeared to celebrate a little too loud, however, while trying to film a live video on his mobile for his social media, he had awkwardly let it down.

Fans and fans were invited to sing the song "Allez Allez Allez" before the phone falls to the ground.

The mobile was then recovered on the sidewalk and returned to Wijnaldum. His laughing face appeared on the video and he said, "Oh, it's still working!" before ending the video.

Wijnaldum played 62 minutes in Madrid before being replaced by James Milner and was one of the key men of the season in Liverpool.

It was he who was the hero of the semifinal win going to Barcelona, ​​scoring two quick goals to allow Liverpool to return to tie before Origi scored the winner.

Wijnaldum, who joined the Reds in 2016 from Newcastle United, has played 45 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring five times in a row.

He has made 54 appearances for his country and is expected to play for the Netherlands when they face England in the League of Nations semi-finals on Thursday.
