Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho is reluctant to return to the Premier League in spite of the interest of Manchester United and Chelsea and prefers to move to PSG.

The Brazilian is struggling to cope with his huge prize during a disappointing season for the Catalan club, which will attempt to capitalize on its £ 142m signing to fund a major summer redesign.

Chelsea was strongly linked to a move as she prepared for life after Eden Hazard, while United was also mentioned as a potential destination.

However, according to the Spanish sports newspaper, Coutinho does not really want to join one or the other club and his favorite destination is the PSG, where he would bond with his good friend Neymar.

If he joined Chelsea, he would suffer a major pay cut, while the Blues might not even be able to sign him under an imminent transfer ban.

Coutinho wants to quickly settle his future and is not ready to wait to see if Chelsea has been successful in his appeal against the transfer ban.

Even though United could cope with his salary requirements, Coutinho – who was booed during his visit to Old Trafford in the Champions League – made it clear that he did not want to deteriorate his relationship with Liverpool fans too much.

The Brazilian has lost a lot of support for the way he has forced his move to Barcelona and Coutinho does not want to spoil the lack of goodwill that he still has in Merseyside by joining United.

As such, Coutinho has dismissed Chelsea and United as options for the moment and considers PSG as his best choice although he previously refused a transfer to the French champions.
