In the United States, there has been an increase of 41 cases of measles compared to the previous week.
The US Centers for Disease Control reports that it is the highest number of measles cases reported in the country since 1992, and the largest since measles was declared eradicated nearly two decades ago in 2000.

States reporting CDC cases are: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Mbadachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, Nevada, New Hampshire , New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Tennessee and Washington.
The CDC indicates that measles outbreaks (defined as 3 or more cases) are currently in progress in 2019 in the following jurisdictions:
