MTN Ghana launches 21 Days of Y'ello Care 2019

Accra, June 3, GNA – MTN Ghana Monday
officially opened its staff volunteering program "21 Days of Y'ello
Care "to undertake activities that would empower young people to
impacts on society.

The 2019 program on the theme "Creation of a
A better future for our young people "started on June 1st and should end in June
21

The program should benefit from approximately
330 unemployed youth and would include activities such as vocational training on
bead making, hairdressing, make-up and construction work.

Beneficiaries would also be trained to
digital marketing, customer service, financial management, information
Skills in technology and entrepreneurship.

The program would empower and inspire
detainees of penitentiary centers for the elderly and rehabilitation centers
identify their abilities and work towards them.

The MTN Ghana officer who launched the program said that it was necessary to
Corporate entities to give young people the skills needed for employment.

He explained that the '21 Days of Y'ello
Care 'was a challenge for the MTN group. As a result, MTN Ghana won the title of
threshold, he needed 95% of staff participation and 100%
Excom participation.

"Without a doubt, we all have a critical role to play
to play. We must commit ourselves to translate our hopes into reality and to show ourselves
as volunteers, "he said.

The CEO advised the staff of the telecommunications company

National Youth Authority agent congratulated MTN for taking steps
empower young people, adding that the decision to join the NYA was commendable
and gave badurance that it would be fruitful.

responsibility of the government but also that of private entities, and
encouraged other private organizations to create more jobs for young people.
