Paul Pogba could be transferred to Juventus after the Turin club opened the dialogue on the Manchester United midfielder.
Pogba should join Real Madrid this summer, but Juventus, Serie A power, joined the race after opening a dialogue with midfielder Mino Raiola.
The man from the United States will cost 160 million pounds, but an exchange could suit both clubs, the Red Devils have already been badociated with the ace of Juventus, Paulo Dybala.
Pogba joined Juventus from United in 2012, before returning to Old Trafford in 2016 for a record £ 89 million.
However, he often failed to replicate his best form for United.
Italian sources said Juventus had started talks with Raiola and that she would soon make an offer for the 26 – year – old French international.
Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted: "Juventus has started talks with Mino Raiola and Manchester United for Paul Pogba, they want to pick him up and make an offer and Man United will decide soon on the future of Pogba, only first contacts for the moment. "
Another journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, said that Juventus would target Pogba even though she does not have a manager yet. The Turin club hopes to be able to name its new boss Maurizio Sarri, winner of the Europa League, in the coming days, after the resignation of Max Allegri.
Di Marzio says Pogba is ready to return to Juventus, but said the Bianconeri are expecting tough talks on the asking price and could propose a player like makeweight.
Juventus will of course have to face fierce competition from Real Madrid. Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has asked the Los Blancos board of directors to give priority to a leap forward for Pogba this summer.
Zidane desperately needs the club to do everything in its power to attract Pogba to the Bernabeu, in order to reorganize his midfield. Real could offer Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and goalkeeper Keylor Navas as part of any deal.
