Arsenal Transfer News: Craftsmen Launch £ 37m Bid for Serie A Pair

Arsenal has launched a £ 37 million double blow for Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen of Sampdoria, reports in Italy.

Unai Emery needs to improve his Arsenal team this summer, but his budget will be limited after the Gunners missed the Champions League game.

The boss of Arsenal must replace Aaron Ramsey's creativity after the midfielder rejoined Juventus, while injecting new blood into an aging defense that creaks.

And after their defeat in the Europa League final at Chelsea last week, Arsenal quickly regained consciousness with a double bid from creative midfielder Praet and central defender Andersen.

According to the Italian group Tuttosport, the gunners have made a combined bid of 42 million euros for the pair, but the publication indicates that, with AC Milan also interested, Sampdoria will retain 50 million euros.

Anderson, a 22-year-old Danish center-back, would offer some versatility since he can also play as a defensive midfielder. Praet, 25, can play in the middle of the field or on the left wing. They helped Sampdoria finish ninth in Serie A this season.

Arsenal fears losing a promising youngster

Meanwhile, Arsenal fears more and more of losing one of his most promising. Xavier Amaechi would consider his future at the club after being snubbed a spot in the Europa League final team.
