President Akufo-Addo revealed that 21 people are currently being tried for corruption in various forms by his administration.

"People say that there is no prosecution. Twenty-one people are currently being tried in Ghana for corruption. What does corruption mean? The simple word for corruption is stealing, it's stealing, and there are people who are on trial right now.
"One of the things I'm not willing to do under any conditions is to remove the principle of due process. All my life in Ghana, I fought for a state in Ghana that recognizes, accepts and recognizes the respect of the law, as a fundamental instrument of state policy, "he said. note.
He said Ghanaians should be patient in the judicial process to deliver justice and equity to all.
"So, to plead someone in court and that person makes an application after the application – whether to delay the process or for the claims to be genuine – you have to recognize his right to do so.
