The new patriotic party (NPP) of Takoradi district has opened an ultramodern party office.

The office block, funded by party members, would also be used as a training center for incoming party politicians.

Western Regional Minister, Mr. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, who inaugurated the office building, said it had become necessary for the party to build its office after renting an office for 10 years.

Mr. Darko-Mensah, who shared his political background with the party members mentioned, Mr. Peter Mac Manu, former national party chairman, introduced him to politics and supported him in his career policy.

In honor of Mr. Manu for his contributions to the growth and development of the party, the main lobby of the Block Building was named in his honor.
Darko-Mensah pledged to establish a beneficial regional headquarters structure after 2020, adding that the market circle in Takoradi would be modernized and that the Kwame Nkrumah roundabout would be integrated into an exchange and that the bridge and roads of the Adakope community would be developed. .

The party's national president, Freddy Blay, thanked members for their support and solidarity with the party.

He also commended the members for their zeal in the party's activities and pointed out that they had even challenged the heavy rains to get to the inauguration.

The national president urged members to be vigilant and protect the party's badets.
