Practitioner Judge Srem Sai said the Ghana government was not "direct" with problems regarding the continued detention of Menzgold's chief executive, Nana Appiah Mensah, in Dubai.

According to him, the government does not seem to worry as it should to provide badistance to Mr. Appiah Mensah as deserving to be a Ghanaian citizen.

"It is quite strange to have an accused acquitted and released again in detention. A red alert makes it very likely the continued detention of a person. What is alarming is that the Vice President does not seem to know what is happening in Dubai.

"The speech and the words of the badistant MAs do not differ from what an ordinary citizen will tell us. He is not very direct with what is happening. The government could be expected to provide NAM1 with any form of badistance to recover its money stuck in Dubai so that it can pay its customers. The Vice President's comments do not show any seriousness about the issue, "he told Morning Starr host Francis Abban.

This comes after Menzgold called on the government to raise Interpol's red alert on his boss so that he mobilizes funds to pay the injured customers.

"All clients and the general public should be aware that our UAE, UK, US and Ghanaian lawyers have sent the Government of Ghana detailed disclosure regarding the recovery of the company's funds from a Dubai Gold company called Horizon Royal. Diamonds.

"The facts of the appeal and, what is more importantly, the unjustified arrest of Interpol by the Ghanaian government, as well as the continued detention of the general manager of our company via l 39; "Alert Interpol Red Alert, by the Ghanaian government," the statement said.

He added: "Among the other relevant factual issues raised in the supporting documents, we urged the government to respectfully revoke Interpol's red notification order or to accept a bond for the immediate release of our Director General. from Menzgold:

"1. Continue to search the 750 kg of gold, now worth 39 million dollars from Royal Horizon.

Diamonds legally without this obstruction of justice and funds from other debtors around the world.

"2. So that the CEO can freely communicate and meet our partners and international business partners, who have declared themselves ready, following our favorable decision made on April 9, 2019 in Dubai Court, to help us financially and to allow us to adjust our expensive debt to our customers / businesses. Commitments as soon as possible, as we seek to resolve and immediately put an end to these troubling issues of the past few months and continue our activities as Ghana's Gold Hub.
