The Cbad & River Trust, which manages 2,000 kilometers of waterways in England and Wales, estimates that 570,000 plastic items are being dragged into the world's oceans every year.
Plastics now account for 59% of waste in British inland waters, but they believe that waste could be significantly reduced if tourists pick up a single waste as they pbad.
