Muslims around the world are celebrating the three days of the Eid al-Fitr festival, marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
The calendar of Eid al-Fitr, or "the feast of breaking the fast", begins with the first sighting of the new moon and often varies from one country to the next.
Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Afghanistan, Iraq and Nigeria began celebrating Eid on Tuesday; Wednesday.
The celebrations begin with a special early morning prayer in mosques and outdoor spaces, before going on to festivals and festivals.
