How Liverpool could align next season with James Maddison and Matthijs de Ligt

Jurgen Klopp was timid on the transfer front after Liverpool's Champions League win over Tottenham on Saturday.

"It's always more difficult for the team to win [to improve it]but it's a good sign, "said the German. Transfers, we are not there to excite people and think "Wow, a new player!" and stuff like that.

"In reality, the job is to improve the team and there are different ways [to do that]We always said it. It's a training issue – in fact, I think that's the best way to do it [it] and if you have to sign someone, you sign someone.
