The new Tinder feature allows users to choose up to three sexual orientations

Dating App Tinder launches a new feature that will allow users to choose up to three badual orientations.

Starting this month, the app will include a new "Orientation" feature, which allows users to choose from several terms to describe their badual orientation. Users of the application will be able to decide if these terms are displayed on their profile for others to see.

Labels include "queer", "abadual" and "demibadual". Previously, users could only choose if they preferred men, women or both.

Tinder has partnered with the LGBTQ GLAAD media campaign group to develop the new feature of the app.

Existing users will be able to use the orientation feature to edit and update their information, while new users will be able to include their badual orientation when they register.

Users will also be able to sort the people they match, so that people with the same orientation are displayed first.

On Tuesday, Tinder said in a blog post that the guidance function "would continue to evolve and change, just like baduality".

The new feature will be deployed in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, India, Australia and New Zealand throughout the month of June.

Tinder has over 2 billion views per day in more than 190 countries and claims to have a delay of a million times a week.
